Vintage Mizufune Rokushū colored wood block print c1962. The veiwable print measures 4.5 x 5.5 inches, signed and numbered. The original frame measures 11.75 by 13.5 inches. Very good estate conditon. Mizufune Rokushū was born in Kure, Hiroshima Prefecture in 1912 Died 1980. Graduated 1936 from Sculpture Dept., Tokyo Art School. Known widely as a sculptor and printmaker; founding member of Zokei Hanga Kyokai in 1937, member of Japan Print Society. See: Frances Blakemore.
