Rare large early New England country kitchen pine bowl made from a single block of wood, circa 1800. Measures 21.25 x 19.5 inches wide and six inches high. This is one of the largest early American bowls, hand cut and lathe turned from a single piece, that we have ever come by. The condition is excellent with a deep rich patina. There is one small line in the bottom center which is to be expected from a bowl this age. No cracks or splits to its sides. Great for salad or fruit.
