David LeFort tiger maple Queen Anne style lowboy made in 1998. Two board top dovetailed into the base, wooden pin construction and wide hand-cut dovetailed drawers. Exact reproduction of an American colonial period example. Strong all over tiger grained boards. Original label on base and hand chamfered drawer bottoms. Measures 33" wide x 16.25" deep x 27.5" high. Beautiful condition. David LeFort made fine hand crafted reproductions of the best examples held in American museums. He worked with Eldred Wheeler before striking out on his own. His shop was located at 293 Winter Street in Hanover, MA.
