Eldred Wheeler tall chest of 6 drawers. Tiger maple and cherry with shell carved top drawer, dovetailed drawers and top, and bracket feet. Eldred Wheeler is no longer making these fine colonial reproduction pieces. Measures 36.5 inches wide at top molding, 33.25 inches wide at case, 19.25 inches deep at top molding, 17.5 inches deep at case and 54 inches tall. Excellent condition. Please see "Eldred Wheeler / A Collector's Guide" by Emmett W. Eldred, page 215, for reference to this chest of drawers. Eldred Wheeler made the finest reproductions of period American furniture. It is no longer in business.
