Set of 6 vintage Eldred Wheeler solid cherry chairs in the country Chippendale style. Removable slip seats covered in bargello fabric. Pierce carved backs with overlapping definition, straight legs, and wooden pin construction. These were some of the finest and most labor-intensive chairs Eldred Wheeler ever produced. Each chair measures 38.5" high to the back, 20.5" high to the seat, 19.5" wide at the front, 20" wide at the back, and 16 inches deep. The chairs were photographed outdoors and stronger sunlight on one chair makes it appear lighter than the others, but they are all perfectly matched.
