Large mahogany library bookcase with satinwood inlays. Centennial period, circa 1875. This cabinet was made to completely disassemble for easy transport; when it was first made it was delivered by horse and wagon. Built in three sections with adjustable shelves. The extremely strong shelves can handle books of any size and weight, as seen in the images. The bookcase measures 84 inches wide at the top, 79.5 inches wide at the sides, and 83 inches high. The left and right sections are 11 inches deep and the center section is 13 inches deep.
