18th C Chinese temple chest incorporating upper and lower compartments containing shelves and drawers. Upper cupboard doors are carved and gilded scenes. The lower doors are incised floral decorations of period vases. Warm reddish patina with bronze and brass hardware; supported by a carved stand with lion faces and paw feet. Measures 56 inches wide by 23 inches deep and 69 and three quarter inches high.

Connecticut bench made four drawer bow front dresser c1930

This piece is an exact hand made reproduction of an American Connecticut Country Chippendale bow front graduated four drawer chest with fluted columns, on OG footed base. The drawers are all made with large hand cut dovetails and hand chamfered bottoms. The back has hand chamfered raised panels. This chest is made from solid matched mahogany and measures 45 inches wide, 23 and one half inches deep at the center, 20 and one half at the sides, and 37 inches high. This piece is unsigned but clearly made by a master craftsman.c1930

Done by a master, this inlay work is an excellent combination of exotic woods. The marble is original to the chest and the perfect color to work with any decor. The mountings are gilt brass. This marble top chest measures 40 inches wide at its back 34 inches at the front,19 and one quarter inches deep and 36 and one half inches high.

English bowfront Callingham & Lloyd four drawer chest c1930. This is one of the finest of all the handcrafted pieces we have sold from this period. Retailed by the Kensington Furniture Company Manufactures and Importers of Decorative Furniture and Art Objects, Showroom 41 West 45th Street NY. The chest, or dresser, measures 44 inches wide by 38 and three quarter inches high. Measures 19 inches deep at the sides and 22 inches deep at the center. It features banded inlay, solid mahogany drawer bottoms, wide hand cut dovetails, and French feet.

It is the only miniature childrens lookside we have ever seen in 38 years of selling fine antiques. Western Mass CT River Valley reverse serpentine country cherry chest c1780. This cherry chest is quite rare because of its bandy legs. We can not find other examples of this foot being used on four drawer chests made in the CT River Valley in the 18th century. Excellent condition with virtually no repairs.Perfect old color just the way we want to see a period chest. This graduated drawer chest even has its original brasses. Measures 37 and three quarter inches wide across its top, 36 inches across its case, 18 inches deep, 36 and one half inches high with four graduated drawers that measure 7 inches, 6 inches, 5 and one quarter inches and 4 and one half inches.

Antique Period American country painted pine six board blanket chest c1790. This is the only six board blanket chest or trunk we have seen with a secret compartment. The left inside drawer is fake. When you remove the right drawer and pull out the center divider you can access the secret drawer as shown in one of the pictures provided. This blanket chest has its old red wash and is dovetailed on all four sides. Excellent original condition including hinges and lock. No repairs or restoration. Measures 40 inches wide by 20 inches deep and 19 inches high.
