American Federal style Centennial period oval mahogany single pedestal dining table c1880. This table bears the original label of the former owner (Mrs Mary E. Hanley) and the name of her house in Wiscasset, Maine, "Villa Hanley". She also lived in Via Benova, Boston, MA. The table is a very unusual size. It measures 59 and one half inches wide by 35 and one half inches deep and 29 inches high, and seats 6. This is a very fine quality piece of hand made American furniture. Solid mahogany, not veneered. Excellent condition with some minor evidence of use.
