Alfred Jacquemart (French, 1824-1896) bronze figural group of 3 male hunting pointers, including a puppy, seated by a tree stump, on a naturalistic base of grass, leaves and roots. Measures 13" long x 9" wide x 9" high. Original brown patina. Signed A JACQUEMART on base. Jacquemart was renowned for his sensitive and appealing animal sculptures. This is one of his better known works.
