Aesthetic bronze and onyx tray c1885

Exquisite Aesthetic movement footed butler's tray in the Japanese taste. Bronze mounted onyx panel c1885. The bronze frame has relief carved Japanese style blossoming branches, birds, and insects. It measures 26" L across the handles x 16" W x 5" H. The inset onyx panel is soft white with natural golden orange and reddish orange markings. It measures 15.75" L x 10.75" W and has no chips or cracks.
