18thc French provincial painted tole tin tray coffee table c1780
RARE 18thc country French provincial hand painted tole tin tray c1780. This is the largest and best tole tray we have ever seen, with four hand cut outs for serving (most have two or three). The mahogany bamboo turned base is a later addition to allow the tray to be used as a coffee table. We have a plexiglass insert available if the buyer would like to have it. Excellent original rose painted surface in muted yellows, peaches, and green colors. Measures 31.5 inches outside the top of the tray, 30 inches inside, 21.5 inches to the top of the tray and 20 inches to its top surface.
