Born in Lanus, Argentina in 1911, died in 1998. See "New Brazil Art" by Pietro Maria Bardi, Praeger Publishers c1970, page 152: "In his work he reproduces the folklore of Bahia which is his permanent theme." He executed a fresco for the American Airlines terminal at Idlewild (now Kennedy) Airport in New York in 1959. This limited edition print of cavalheros herding cattle measures 12 inches by 15 and one half inches. The original frame measures 21 inches by 25 inches.
