South Netherlandish Flemish carved figure of Jesus 18th 19th c.

South Netherlandish or Flemish carved wood figure of Jesus Christ, late 18th to early 19th c. This antique hand carved sculpture measures 51 inches tall. It sits on a 5 inch tall carved base that is not original to the figure but dates from the same period. The sculpture was originally displayed out of doors. Parts of it have been restored, which is to be expected, given its age and history.
