Antique Persian Serape Baksahish room size rug c1880
Antique Persian Serape room size rug c1880. This Serape or Baksahish carpet dates from 1870 to 1900 and is in very good condition. There are some old repairs and moderate wear, commensurate with its age. The colors are muted, just the way they should be. This antique oriental rug measures 9 feet eight inches by 14 feet six inches. Just in from an important CT River Valley estate.

Thank you for your quick reply. I am really shocked at the price. I knew many people here wanted it, but probably figured I didn't know what I had and they wanted to buy it for nothing. I am glad I held on to it.
