This antique oil on canvas depicts two donkeys in a barn with hay on the floor surrounded by a stone wall. The painting measures 15 by 20 inches and the original birdseye maple frame measures 18 by 23 inches. This painting was part of the Tom Kaye collection. Tom Kaye was a very well know dealer in San Francisco on Union Street during the 1970's. There a several old repairs to the painting. We have provided a photograph of the reverse so they can be seen.
