French J. Dodd House in a Park watercolour landscape painting 1837. This wonderful landscape watercolor depicts a large estate with horse, people, cows, horses, haystacks and a church in the distance. This watercolour was painted by J Dodd of Paris in 1837. Dodd exhibited from 1832 through 1839. The original birdseye maple frame measures 20 and one half inches by 15 and one quarter inches and the watercolor measures 12 and one half by 18 inches. Very good to excellent condition. DODD, Joseph Josiah (1809-1880)
