Matilde Poulat antique Mexican Sterling silver jewelry brooch c1930
Matilde Poulat antique Mexican Sterling silver jewelry brooch c1930. This vintage hand made squash blossom brooch by Mexican silversmith "Matilde Poulat" was made in the 1930's and is in excellent condition signed on back Matl, Sterling Mexico. Measures 2 and three quarters inches long by 1 and three quarters inches wide. Weighs 15 grams. "Matilde Poulat her work was always popular with Mexican artists and connoisseurs, Archeologists praise it as being expressive of the pre Hispanic feeling. To us it seems Churriqueresque."
