Hand wrought iron Continental window bench seat with lions heads c1885
Hand wrought iron Continental window bench seat with lions heads c1885,most probably Italian. This heavy hand wrought iron window bench has four well cast solid bronze lions heads at the end of each of its arms. The chairs wrought iron base ends in four iron ball and claw feet. This piece was extremely well made, held together with iron pins and fitted straps. It is also very strong, comfortable and in excellent condition. Measures 24 inches deep from nose tip to nose tip,26 inches wide,19 and one half to the top of its seat,22 inches inside and 30 and one half inches to the top of its arms. This bench looks great from all sides so it could also be used in the middle of room.
