American Empire antique outside boot scraper c1835
Antique American Empire outside book scraper c1835. This antique American heavy cast iron boot scraper retains its original paint.Measures 16 and one half inches long by 11 and one half inches wide by 9 inches high.The base has two holes to allow it to be screwed down into wood,cement or stone. Boot scrapers were and are still used outside to the front and back doors of house so guests can scrap off an dirt or grime before coming into the house. They work beautifully and ever house should have one.
