Antique Pair Tiffany repousse Sterling Silver Master Salts

"Antique Pair Tiffany Sterling Silver Master Salts" This pair of heavy antique Tiffany master salts in the repousse pattern weighs 230 grams together. Each measures 3 inches in diameter at the top and 2 and one eighths inches in diameter at the base, and each stands 2 inches tall. There are traces of the original gold vermeil inside each one.This pair of Tiffany and Co sterling silver master salts are each marked Tiffany Co 5881 M 1822 sterling silver x 68. The M is the mark for Edward C. Moore, used from 1869 to 1891. Please see Tiffany Silver by Charles Carpenter Jr with Mary Grace Carpenter, page 256, for a reference on this Tiffany mark.
