American country pine kitchen cupboard
Antique American country pine kitchen cupboard, This American country pine storage cupboard dates from the early to mid 19th century and found in Pennsylvania. The construction is superb. The panel frames on the doors are mortised completely through and wooden pinned for extra strength. The inside single board shelves each measure 14 inches deep. The shelves are set so the storage space measures 14,12,11 inches with the top shelf opening 9 inches but it measures 13 inches inside. The height is 59 inches,the width 42 and one half inches and it is 16 inches deep outside.This cupboard is all original expect the finish. Most all country cupboards were originally painted.This has a deep rich pine color and was probably refinished 50 years ago.
