Rufino Tamayo lithograph Eclipse

Mexican Modern artist Rufino Tamayo lithograph limited edition. This "Rufino Tamayo" lithograph is numbered 89/99 and signed at the lower right. It is entitled Eclipse. The artist was born of Zapotec Indian parents in Oaxaca, Mexico, in1899, and died in 1991. The photograph showing the bio was taken from an exhibition pamphlet entitled "Tamayo" at the Harcourts Gallery, 535 Powell Street, San Francisco, CA, where this image was purchased by our consignor. Tamayo is considered the foremost painter of Modern Mexico and has had many exhibitions, including one in 1988 at the world famous Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, Madrid, Spain..This lithograph is beautifully framed and in excellent original condition. The frame measures 41 inches wide by 33 inches high and the image measures 29 inches wide by 22 inches high. Beautiful turquoise colors.
