Victorian oak rocker c1900
This rocker was made circa 1900. The single curved piece comprising the seat and the lower back is steam bent plywood. The arms, legs, and slats are oak. This rocker is a transitional design; the turned spindles are Victorian, but the cut-outs in the back and in the side slats show the emerging influence of the Arts and Crafts movement.

Thank you for your quick reply. I am really shocked at the price. I knew many people here wanted it, but probably figured I didn't know what I had and they wanted to buy it for nothing. I am glad I held on to it.
