Inlaid Mahogany upholstered arm chair c1900
Inlaid antique Mahogany upholstered arm chair. Centennial , made circa 1875, after the Federal period original (circa 1820). It is an upholstered easy chair with scrolled arms and "Grecian" side-scrolled front legs. Its frame is flame-veneered mahogany, line-inlaid with boxwood or satinwood. The straight crest is also inlaid with scroll-and-arrow motifs. The chair is of beautiful quality.
