Antique inlaid American coffee table
This coffee table is American (probably the northeast), made between 1925 and 1935. The style is basically 18th century French, although the coffee table as such was not a known form at that time; it was introduced around 1920. The table's carved elements were actually rough-cut by machine and finished by hand. The top is composed of thinly veneered strips with inlaid scrolls and flowers
