Silver Plated Water Set c 1880
Silver plated water set c1880. We have in our library a hardbound jeweler's catalogue published in 1896. In it, we found several similar sets, priced between $32.00 and $50.00.That seems cheap now, but it was a substantial amount of money at the time. The more expensive models were elaborately modeled and engraved, and featured 2 cups. They were used in bedrooms.

Thank you for your quick reply. I am really shocked at the price. I knew many people here wanted it, but probably figured I didn't know what I had and they wanted to buy it for nothing. I am glad I held on to it.
