French Empire diamond gold necklace c1850
Antique French Estate jewelry, French Empire diamond gold necklace c1850. 18K silver and yellow gold French Empire necklace. There are approximately 240 original diamonds rose cut stones totaling approximately 10 carats total weight. Period French jewelry was always made with a silver top over a gold base. This is a magnificent example of French jewelry for this period. Obviously made by a master craftsman. The pearl is a later replacement. Excellent condition.
