Endeavour half ships model

Endeavour half ships model. The Endeavour was a British Americas Cup Challenger in 1934. This model was made by a master 1/2 model maker from plans taken from Mystic Seaport. This model dates from 2003 . The solid mahogany back board measures 60 inches long by 12 and one half inches wide and three quarters of an inch thick. The model measures 48 inches long by 8 inches deep and 4 and one half inches thick. This model is perfectly done. The fellow who made this model is retired and did it as a labor of love. He told me he could not even keep track of the amount of hours it took him. We normally do not handle contemporary items but make exceptions when the quality is this good. This is a One of a Kind maritime work of art

Thank you for your quick reply. I am really shocked at the price. I knew many people here wanted it, but probably figured I didn't know what I had and they wanted to buy it for nothing. I am glad I held on to it.
