Antique Early African Ibo Maiden Tribal Mask. This antique African mask measures 21 and three quarter inches high by 8 and one half inches wide and 11 and one half inches deep. Including the stand the total height of this antique tribal mask is 25 inches high. Every year "Maiden masks" were carved for the "The Fame Of Maidens' annual festival in the north central region of Iboland. Here is a description from a Sothebys catalog.
