Painted American country blanket chest c1790
Painted American blanket chest c1790. This Period American country furniture "blanket chest" or blanket box was made from six single boards and has boot jack ends. Original reddish brown painted surface. If you are a purist, collecting original American antiques this is the piece for you. It is absolutely original never waxed or repaired in any way. Just in from a Guilford CT estate. Measures 45 inches wide, 21 and one half inches high and 17 inches deep.

Thank you for your quick reply. I am really shocked at the price. I knew many people here wanted it, but probably figured I didn't know what I had and they wanted to buy it for nothing. I am glad I held on to it.
