American Victorian Walnut Library table c1860
American Victorian Walnut Library table c1860. This period antique American black walnut library table adjusts so the two lower shelves contract into the top. There is a lever under the top that when pulled allows the table to lift up and serve as a book or folio shelf. This library table measures 41 and one half inches wide,21 inches deep and 21 and one half inches high. When the table is expanded it measures 44 and one half inches high with a middle shelf that is 19 inches deep and a bottom shelf that is 17 inches deep. This is a very unique piece of American Victorian furniture. The sides have burled walnut veneers. Excellent condition.
