Inset Marble top walnut Victorian Table C1860. This "Victorian marble top table" was made from beautiful solid American black walnut. The original marble top is inset and set in with a cross banded walnut frame. This marble is the most unusual color. It reminds us of a sponge design. It almost looks like a mosaic with deep rich contrasting colors. This is one of the most unbelievable color combinations in real antique marble we have ever seen. This American Victorian table just came to us from an important Victorian furniture collection. Made in Philadelphia in 1860. Original finish. Measures 41 inches.
