Thomas Brooks NY Rosewood drop front desk c1850
Thomas Brooks NY Rosewood drop front desk c1850. This "Thomas Brooks" American Victorian Rosewood desk was made in New York c1850 and is in mint original condition. This American Victorian ladies desk measures 37 inches wide by 18 and one half inches deep by 74 and one half inches high at its outside. Truly a masterpiece by Brooks who was one of the top furniture makes of his day. The interior is satin wood and the piece is signed on its back.
