Alexander Roux NY Furniture rosewood parlor set

Antique Roux American Victorian furniture."Alexander Roux NY" Furniture rosewood seven piece parlor set. This set is not signed but we are certain is was made by Roux in New York c1850. This wonderful and rare rosewood parlor set was purchased from the descendants of the original owners and it has never been reupholstered. We do have all the inside springs etc. but the silk was poor condition.If you like period Victorian furniture finding a complete set like this is as rare as it gets. The Sofa measures 72 and one half inches wide, 26 inches deep and 52 and one half inches high. The two arm chairs each measure 48 inches high,24 inches deep and 24 and one half inches wide at the outside. The side chairs each measure 43 inches high,20 inches deep and 20 and one half inches wide at the outside.

Thank you for your quick reply. I am really shocked at the price. I knew many people here wanted it, but probably figured I didn't know what I had and they wanted to buy it for nothing. I am glad I held on to it.
