Antique Six Panel Silk Thread Korean Screen
Antique Six Panel Silk Thread Korean Screen. This antique Korean silk screen has six panels, each measuring 17 and one half inches wide and 60 inches tall. primarily on scroll printed paper, most likely rice paper in a wooden frame with black silk panels, hand embroidered with multicolored silk threads with different Korean symbols with a white paper backing, probably rice paper. Brass corners and fittings. This was given as a gift to the American Ambassador to South Korea from the early 1960's. It was presented to him by the S. Korean President.
