Antique American pine bucket bench cupboard
Antique American pine bucket bench cupboard, This American "Bucket bench" is in pristine original condition. The doors have hand made raised panels and the back boards have old hand made nails.When women would carry in water,vegetables,apples etc into the house in bucket they would place them on a bucket bench. This bucket bench is from New England and dates from c1800 and is made of pine. Because they are small and fit almost anywhere Antique buckets benches are impossible to come by, people do not like to part with them. Perfect for crocks and copper pots.The Bucket bench measures 42 inches wide,46 and one half inches high14 and three quarter inches deep.
