Antique Hand Carved Walnut Roman revival chair1895 to 1910.
Roman revival period chair, made between 1895 to 1910. Antique Hand Carved walnut Savonarola chair.This antique Savannarola style chair dates from the late 19th century and has wonderful carved detail including female torsos, leaves and berries, and lion head medallions. The chair is in excellent condition retaining its original finish. It measures 37 and one half inches to the top of its back crest, 29 inches to the top of its arms,25 inches wide at the arms, 17 inches to the top of the seat and 18 inches to the top of the cushion. The inside measurement is 20 inches wide and 17 inches deep. This highly decorative carved chair is quite unusual and well carved.
