Antique Bronze Door Opener or Pull
Antique Bronze Door Opener or Pull. This Venetian lion bronze door pull dates from the17th to 18th century. This antique door pull was purchased in Venice in 1930. The head is beautifully detailed and the surface has acquired a rich verdegris patina. The head measures 5 inches wide by 6 inches long by 3 inches deep. The pull extends another 2 and one half inches. The original bolts, with lugs and washers, extend 3 and three quarters deep. It weighs 5 and one half pounds.
