Antique R J Horner furniture, This American Victorian partners desk was made by the famous furniture maker "R J Horner" at 61, 63, 65 West 23rd Street New York City NY. The original Horner label in under one of the drawers. This partners desk is made from solid mahogany and has four carved griffins one on each corner.There are two replaced drawer bails. Horner furniture is quite rare. This RJ Horner desk measures 48 inches widest at top, 30 and one quarter inches deep, and 38 inches wide at the feet. This antique desk measures 29 and one quarter inches high to the desktop and 8 and one half inches high to the top of the bottom shelf. The drawers measure 17 and three quarter inches wide and are 3 and one half inches deep down.
