Antique Wall Clocks Ansonia Clock Company Connecticut

Ansonia Clock Company in Ansonia, Connecticut, circa 1895. Connecticut was our country's clock-manufacturing capitol in the nineteenth century. The case appears to be black walnut. The turnings and proportions are lovely. The woman's profile is that of Jenny Lind, a celebrity singer of the period whose image adorned many decorative objects.

Thank you for your quick reply. I am really shocked at the price. I knew many people here wanted it, but probably figured I didn't know what I had and they wanted to buy it for nothing. I am glad I held on to it.
