Danish silver holloware by Georg Jensen Denmark sterling silver Grape pattern Tazza compotes, this pair of "Georg Jensen sterling silver Tazza compotes" date from the 1940's and measure seven and one half inches high. This is an exact matched pair with numbers 263 b on their base. Each has a complicated grape pattern and twist design. This is one of the most favorite Georg Jensen forms and are quite hard to come by.Excellent condition.This pair is just in from a local estate. The book Georg Jensen a Tradition of Splendid Silver by Janet Drucker gives a full page illustration of this piece on page 189. This piece number 263 was also designed by Georg Jensen.
