Antique French Tortoise Shell Hair Comb
French hair comb,This antique French hallmarked tortoiseshell hair comb measures 5 inches long and is 1 inch wide. Mounted with 12 silver-set rose-cut diamonds. Early to middle 19th century. Perfect hair accessory for a chignon or a French twist. French period antique "tortoiseshell hair combs" in this condition are quite rare. This hair comb is hallmarked in two places and all the stones are original to the piece.
