Antique Adam Carie Pokeepsie New York 4 gallon stoneware crock, This stoneware crock as the most beautiful blue cobalt bird on a branch on its face. The cobalt on this American stoneware piece is very strong. The bird measures 10 inches and the crock itself measures 11 inches high by 12 inches wide. The crock does have a six inch hair line crack that is not visible from the outside and hard to see from the inside. You can tell it is there when you tap the outside of the crock other wise you would not know. This is a very unusual and hard to come by piece of antique cobalt blue American stoneware.
