1.6 Ct Diamond and Gold Pansy Brooch by WM S. Hedges and Company 1911. This magnificent brooch was made by "WM S. Hedges and Company" in New York, established in 1878, incorporated in 1911. This hand made piece weighs16 grams of 14k yellow gold and a very well cut 1.6 CT cushion cut VS1- I/J diamond in its center. Each petal is satin-finished with a polished edge. A great example of a fine piece of jewelry made during this period of fine craftsmanship. This brooch pendant measures 1 and one half inches across. See American Jewelry manufactures by Dorothy T.
