Antique Cast iron Garden Urns by Kramer Bros Dayton Ohio
Kramer Bros,Antique Garden urns,Pair of American Dayton Ohio cast iron Urns. This pair of "cast iron urns" dates from the Victorian period c1870 and were made by the "Kramer Bros" in Dayton Ohio. Kramer was a top foundry in the American Victorian period.They both have an old, later painted surface. To find a pair which also has their original signed bases is very rare. This pair even has its original drain plugs to allow water to drain out so they do not have to be tipped. Signed on their base Kramer Bros FDY Dayton O. These cast iron garden urns measure 29 inches wide from handle to handle and the top is 21 and one quarter inches in diameter. The overall height of these antique urns is 29 and three quarter inches high and the base measures 14 and one half inches square.
