Antique hand painted lithograph by artist John Lewis, this wonderful lithograph was so well in painted that it looks almost exactly like the original with over 70 percent of this lithograph painted. The figures,water and sky are all painted. This is a great impressive piece of art by artist "John Lewis" born 1805 died 1876. Measures 23 and one half inches high by 39 and one half inches wide with the frame measuring 48 inches wide and 32 inches high. The frame is original to the piece and was made form heavy wide solid oak stock with a gold leaf insert. This image dates from the mid to late 19th century.
