Antique Solid gold French jewelry cross with fine baroque detail
Antique French gold jewelry, "gold crosses". Early solid 18k gold French religious cross, This 18k gold cross measures 4 inches long and four and four and one half inches long inches with its solid gold ring. Weights 47 grams and dates from after 1837. This wonderful heavy solid 18k gold cross has gorgeous design on both sides. Purchased from a bishop in Paris, France after the second world war. Hallmarked with a man's head facing right and an animal's head.
