Antique French jewelry solid gold etched designed cross
Antique French gold jewelry,"Gold crosses"Early solid 18k gold early French religious cross, This 18k gold cross measures 3 and three quarters inches long and four and one quarter inches long inches with its solid gold ring. Weights 57 grams and dates from after 1837. This wonderful heavy solid 18k gold cross has chip carved inscriptions "Covrs St Charles" and others. This cross was purchased from a French Bishop in Paris France after the second world war.The French hallmarks are an animal head, along with mpr.Truly a work of art.
