Antique French jewelry,French Gold Bracelet, "Diamond Bracelet", Antique French Gold and Diamond Jewelry. This "Period French Gold and Diamond Bracelet" dates from the mid 19th century and it has wonderful hallmarks with each rose cut diamond individually set in silver over gold which is how all fine antique jewelry was made from this period.The inside dimension is 6 and three quarters inches. This Diamond and gold French bracelet is without a doubt, the best piece of antique French estate jewelry we have had in years.This bracelet weighs 47 grams and has a total of approximately 5 and one half to 6 carats of diamonds.The bracelet was made by a master jeweler. It was made so well that it ever so slightly graduates in size from its underside to the top. If you want to judge the size to your wrist wrap a dollar bill which is approximately 6 and one eighths inches around to see how this would fit. This bracelet is one eighths of an inch thick!
