French 18thC Loire Valley Walnut Armoire
Antique French armoire, armoire, 18th Century "Loire Valley" walnut Armoire. This 18th century Loire Valley cupboard measures 58 inches wide, 19 inches deep on the outside, 16 inches deep on the inside, 90 inches tall, and 62 inches wide at the crest. This 18th century marriage armoire was made to hold a bride's dowry of linens and clothing. It is handsome, impressive, and aesthetically pleasing, yet functional and roomy. The surface has a deep rich natural patina. Circa 1800.
